New Formulas on Display at Food Tech Summit & Expo

Grain Processing Corporation (GPC) will be exhibiting new formulas at The Food Tech Summit and Expo on October 2-3 at Centro Citibanamex in Mexico City, Mexico. Join us at Booth #1404 and experience our latest label-boosting demos. 

Try a savory, high-fiber and gluten-free snack mix featuring chickpea puffs and crackers containing GPC’s specialty chickpea and soy flours. 

These puffs and crackers provide a versatile snack base that can be used in both savory and sweet combinations. They can be mixed with a myriad of other ingredients to provide a healthy or indulgent treat. 

The chickpea puffs contain GPC's CP100-S steamed chickpea flour as well our PURE-DENT® corn starch. Our chickpea flour not only provides a gluten-free base and a clean flavor but also adds more protein than traditional wheat flour. PURE-DENT® corn starch assists with the expansion and the texture of the puffs.

The crackers are formulated with ROSY100 full-fat roasted soy flour, CP100-S steamed chickpea flour and FYBRIN® RS food starch-modified, a resistant starch. Our soy and chickpea flours work together to add protein as well as provide a clean, nutty flavor to the cracker. FYBRIN® RS adds fiber while helping reduce calories. INSTANT PURE-COTE® food starch-modified is also used in the cracker to improve crispness and crunchiness while enhancing durability.

STARCH JELLIES SHOWCASING GPC'S PURE-SET® THIN BOILING STARCH WILL ALSO BE ON DISPLAY

Starch jellies are a popular candy by themselves as well as an intermediate piece which can be enrobed or panned. Starch jellies featuring PURE-SET® thin boiling starch will be available at GPC Booth 1404. The commonly used term, "thin boiling," refers to the low hot-paste viscosity of the PURE-SET® starches. This low hot viscosity allows high solid sugar/starch solutions to be rapidly cooked and deposited. PURE-SET® starches provide optimal gel strength, chewy texture, and excellent flavor release in a starch jelly candy.  Several colors and flavors will be available at our booth.  

INTRODUCING AN ELECTROLYTE BEVERAGE DRY MIX POWERED BY MALTRIN QD® FOR QUICK DISPERSION & DIGESTIBILITY 


Dry mix electrolyte beverages that are easily dispersible and digestible have been sought after by consumers. In this limoncello flavored electrolyte drink, MALTRIN QD® Maltodextrin provides an easily digestible carbohydrate source that disperses quickly in water.
