AMES, Iowa (February 24, 2025) – Iowa State University’s Food Science and Human Nutrition Department recently hosted its 9th annual ‘Ingredient Application Challenge’, sponsored by Grain Processing Corporation (GPC). Six student teams participated, each tasked with creating an innovative entrée using one GPC starch ingredient and one GPC chickpea ingredient to enhance nutritional value and functionality.
