The supplement market no longer just represents the once daily multivitamin, there are a whole array of nutraceuticals on the market claiming to help with everything from anxiety to beauty issues. With this vast new array of supplement availability that covers more of the population, delivery systems have had to evolve also. No longer is the average consumer looking to just swallow a tablet or capsule, they are looking for more convenient forms such as oral disintegrating tablets which do not need water, gummy forms which don’t need water and taste good, or even sachets that contain quickly disintegrating granules that you just pour on the tongue. MALTRIN® maltodextrins are excellent formulating tools for these types of delivery forms.

    Orally disintegrating tablets (ODTs) are a convenient supplement form that are designed to disintegrate rapidly. No water is needed and people who cannot or do not prefer swallowing tablets or capsules can easily consume this form. MALTRIN® maltodextrins are excellent additions to these formulations.
